Report as of 4-1-08:  The Middleton-Cross Plains clerical group has approved their contract for 2007-2009.  This contract will give the clerical employees a 4.5 percent total package increase of which 2.8 percent will be in wages. Some individuals will get more and some less based on whether they get a step increase or not.  As of July 1, all clerical employees will get a straight 2.55 percent increase.

Other changes in the contract include...

1) Employees will be granted up to 8 hours each school year for classes/seminars appropriate to their job.

2) Personal leave can be carried over from one year to the next, not to exceed 5 days in any one year.

3) When calculating vacation time, the District will give vacation time based on starting date in the District rather than number of hours worked in the District. This will take effect on July 1, 2008.
